Signcrypted Audio Steganography: A Sophisticated Technique for Data Security

Abstract

Worth to state that the recent advancement in the field of technology has affected the means of communication and transferring information from one point to the other & it has changed drastically. This development in technology has begot mistreatment; since few people are misusing the technology to unveil the confidential data.The security of information can be achieved by using Encryption and steganography. In cryptography, encrypted data is transmitted after transforming the other form instead of the original data. Contrast cryptography, information hiding process can be extended for protecting from the interest of any attacker. This paper proposes the enhance security system by combining these two techniques.To provide high end security to the data to prevent from the attackers; we are proposing a dynamic technique to secure the confidential data. Two things are important to provide security to the data: confidentiality and encryption. In this paper we are using signcryption technique to provide high security to the data, by encrypting the data with digital signature, so that the attacker cannot attempts any kind of modification to the data & in case the data is decrypted, we are embedding the data in an audio file using audio steganography to confuse the attacker for providing high end security to the confidential data.

Power System Load Frequency Control by Continuous Time Sliding Mode Controller

Abstract

This paper presents an approach for load frequency control in power system. The method uses continuous time sliding mode control strategy for a single & two areas. The same can be extended to three area power system model and ultimately for large area power system. Sliding mode control (SMC) is a control technique used for designing robust controllers insensitive to external disturbances and variations in system parameters. Single & two area load power system model is considered for implementation of the continuous time sliding mode controller.
